After completing her City and
Guilds course, Christine gained a Postgraduate Certificate
in Education. She taught embroidery at Carmarthen Adult Education
Centre for over ten years, including City and Guilds Embroidery
and Design, City and Guilds Soft Furnishing at Swansea College
and was embroidery advisor for B.A. and H.N.D. students at
Carmarthenshire College of Art and Technology for a short time.
Many of Christine’s students continue to progress their
own work, some now in a professional capacity.

Now, as an independent Tutor of stitched and embroidered textiles,
Christine uses her experience, knowledge, skills and methods
to inspire her students.
Committed to life-long learning, Christine offers courses and
workshops in North Somerset, West Wales and nationally that
without the constraints of colleges enables her to put the
student first.
Currently, Christine has devised and provides courses of Masterclasses in
embroidery and design in four locations. These offer students
an open flexible and creative learning experience, a unique
personal journey, through which they will develop their own
skills and styles in an encouraging and supportive environment.
